Honeymoon on Kauai

The night of our wedding we went to the Marriott on the west side of Oahu and stayed for 2 days. It was an amazing resort and we loved just relaxing and being alone after a busy week. Then we flew to Kauai for another week and loved it too. We rented a Jeep Wrangler and just did whatever we wanted for a whole week, including lots of shopping, surfing, laying out, the 8 mile hanakapiai falls hike, going to church in Hanalei (it was the primary program), hottubing a lot, and whatever else you do on your honeymoon . . . .

There were hammerhead sharks and stingrays at the Marriott

We blew it all and went to a big buffet with a chocolate fountain

Acai Bowl - not as good as the ones at Devocean

The Na Pali Coast

One day it was raining so bad so we drove toward the sunshine and ended up at the Hyatt on the south shore.  We hammocked and played in the pools and stuff.  When we went to use the waterslide, they asked where our wristbands were and we just walked away.  They caught us five minutes later and kicked us out . . . but it was fun while it lasted!
